The course runs throughout the park and includes walking paths, grass, tree lines, and is the home of the Lake Murray Cross Country Invitational Run. This race is part of the Tour De Columbia. There is a free 1-mile Kids Fun Run.

Hot, Exploration in Contemporary Fiber Arts Tuesday, Sep 8 6:00p to 8:30p at Saluda Shoals Park, Columbia, SC Join nationally known fiber artist Susan Lenz in this creative fiber workshop using needles and thread, fabric and beads. Sounds of the Shoals. Sunday, September 6. This is a great  fall concert series at the Saluda Shoals Park in Irmo SC from 3-5 p.m. Bring a picnic, blanket or chairs and enjoy live music at this fun event. This weeks entertainer is J. Moonlight Cemetery Tour Friday Sept 4, 8:00 Pm Join us for our popular moonlight tours of the historic Elmwood Cemetery. Costumed guides will lead you through the cemetery to learn about some of Columbia’s past residents and the city’s history.
